  9. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, assisting with problem-solving and decision-making.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and academic institutions.
  11. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the engineering and technology team, providing feedback and support for professional growth and development.
  12. Represent NASA and the engineering and technology department at conferences, events, and meetings.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Engineering And Technology: The Director Of Engineering And Technology At Nasa Must Have A Strong Background In Engineering And Technology, With A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Aerospace Engineering, As Well As Experience In Developing And Implementing Cutting-Edge Technologies.

  • Proven Leadership Skills: As The Head Of The Engineering And Technology Department At Nasa, The Director Must Have Exceptional Leadership Abilities. This Includes The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team Of Engineers And Scientists, As Well As The Ability To Make Strategic Decisions And Provide Visionary Guidance For The Department.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: Nasa Projects Are Complex And Involve A High Level Of Coordination And Collaboration. The Director Of Engineering And Technology Must Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Projects From Conception To Completion, Including Budgeting, Scheduling, And Resource Allocation.

  • Knowledge Of Space Exploration And Regulations: The Director Of Engineering And Technology Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Space Exploration And The Regulations And Standards That Govern It. This Includes Knowledge Of Nasa Policies And Procedures, As Well As Regulations Set By Other Government Agencies Such As The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) And The National Transportation Safety Board (Ntsb).
