
Student Trainee (Engineering)
This position is in the NASA's Pathways Intern Program and provides students pursuing a degree with the opportunity to explore NASA careers and gain meaningful work experience. Performs a variety of systems analysis studies spanning numerous NASA Mission Directorates. Assists in defining mission requirements, defining mission architectures and systems concepts, performing mission operational analyses (concept of operations), and performing mission lifecycle analyses. Contributes to the design, development, analysis, and visualization of mission and concept designs. Assists in identifying key system and architecture design drivers and helps recommend solutions to improve performance metrics while minimizing risk and cost.
Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and have completed 90 or more semester hours
Available to work at least 640 hours prior to completion of degree.
You must have at least one calendar year remaining prior to graduation by the start date of your appointment.
