Accounting Intern

We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join the team at National Bank of Canada and work as an integral part of our accounting department. Responsibilities:

1. Assist the accounting department with daily tasks and processes.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
3. Maintain financial records in accordance with accepted policies and procedures.
4. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
5. Analyze financial information and provide recommendations on improving financial performance.
6. Assist with the preparation of documents for external auditors.
7. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
8. Analyze and reconcile bank accounts and other financial statements.
9. Provide support to the accounting team in completing projects.
10. Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.
