
Information Specialist
Answers questions and disseminates official NRA-ILA policies and procedures over the telephone, by e-mail, and via printed materials to NRA members, volunteers, and the general public on all aspects of the "gun control" debate, and in response to firearms-related questions. Answers and addresses numerous incoming calls per day, unless otherwise specified by Director of ILA Member Services or Managing Director. Responses should be prompt and concise to ensure low wait times and provide a good service to our members and supports. Responds in writing to incoming written requests for information from members, volunteers, and the general public dealing with all aspects of the "gun control" debate, utilizing approved responses in accordance with NRA's legislative and political policies and positions. Recruits volunteer support for NRA-ILA's legislative and political agendas by speaking with individuals who call to request information on how to become more involved in our legislative and political efforts.
1-2 years government, legislative, political, or customer service experience a plus
Some travel required.
