
Benefits Specialist
At Nationwide Mutual Insurance, we are looking for a Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team and help us provide outstanding benefits to our valued employees. Our ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of payroll and benefits administration, as well as strong customer service and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing our employees with access to the best benefits in the industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration and payroll processing. They must have a working knowledge of both state and federal regulations regarding employee benefits and payroll processing. Additionally, the Benefits Specialist must possess exceptional customer service and communication skills to effectively respond to inquiries and provide quality service. They must also be proficient in computer software applications and able to learn new systems quickly. Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll and benefits programs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefit requests.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefit plans, payroll, and other related topics.
- Provide advice and assistance to employees in resolving payroll and benefit issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefit and payroll regulations and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and other external partners.
- Monitor and analyze benefit and payroll expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve benefit and payroll issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and ensure they are enrolled in the appropriate benefit plans.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding benefit and payroll expenses.
Excellent Communication Skills
