Job Description

At Nationwide Mutual Insurance, we are looking for a passionate Customer Service Representative who will act as a liaison between our customers and our internal teams. Our ideal candidate should be a problem-solver, an effective communicator, and a team player who can quickly build strong relationships with customers. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of customer service principles and excellent communication abilities. A successful Customer Service Representative will possess the following qualifications:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Listen to customers to understand and identify their needs.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Resolve customer issues and provide solutions to optimize customer experience.
  5. Document customer interactions in the company’s database.
  6. Monitor customer feedback and suggest improvements in customer service processes.
  7. Keep up to date with product and service information to answer customer queries.
  8. Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  10. Identify and escalate potential customer service issues.
