At Nationwide Mutual Insurance, we strive to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction to our policyholders. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a team player who is capable of meeting deadlines and providing exceptional customer service.The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries and providing guidance and assistance on a variety of topics. This position requires a professional attitude and a strong attention to detail in order to provide an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of customer service experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. They should also possess strong computer and communication skills, and have a working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service to policyholders, responding to inquiries and providing guidance and assistance on a variety of topics.
  2. Handle customer inquiries in a professional, timely, and efficient manner.
  3. Maintain a working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools.
  4. Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  5. Proactively identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  6. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
  7. Document customer interactions in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Adhere to customer service policies and procedures.
  9. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
