They will review and evaluate applications and related documents to determine the acceptability of risk and set appropriate premium rates. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze applications and related documents to assess risk and determine acceptability of applicants
2. Set appropriate premium rates based on risk assessment

4. Maintain detailed records and documentation of underwriting decisions
5. Collaborate with other departments and internal partners to ensure customer satisfaction
6. Make sound risk management decisions based on data analysis
7. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex insurance issues
8. Monitor changes in the insurance market to remain compliant
9. Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on underwriting standards
10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and brokers to ensure accurate information is collected
