  1. Design and implement network infrastructure for data centres, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  2. Monitor and maintain the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data centre networking technologies and best practices.
  5. Conduct regular audits and assessments of the network infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  6. Work closely with vendors and service providers to procure and implement new network equipment and services.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams for the network infrastructure.
  8. Conduct regular testing and maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and resilience of the network infrastructure.
  9. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues.
  10. Proactively identify and mitigate potential network vulnerabilities and security threats.
  11. Collaborate with team members to implement and improve network automation processes.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members on data centre networking technologies and best practices.
  13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide timely updates on network infrastructure projects and issues.
  14. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and performance of the network infrastructure.
  15. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the availability of critical network services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Network Engineering, Preferably In A Data Centre Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Networking Protocols And Technologies, Such As Tcp/Ip, Bgp, Ospf, Mpls, And Vlans.

  • Experience With Network Monitoring And Troubleshooting Tools, Such As Wireshark And Solarwinds.

  • Industry Certifications Such As Ccna, Ccnp, Or Jncie Are Highly Desirable.
