  1. Develop and maintain risk models: The primary responsibility of the Risk Modelling Lead Analyst will be to design, build, and maintain risk models to accurately assess and monitor the level of risk exposure for the organization.
  2. Conduct data analysis: The candidate will be responsible for conducting extensive data analysis to identify potential risks and trends and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
  3. Monitor model performance: The Risk Modelling Lead Analyst will be responsible for regularly reviewing the performance of risk models and identifying areas for improvement to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The candidate will collaborate with various teams, including risk management, finance, and IT, to gather data, incorporate feedback, and develop robust models.
  5. Stay updated on industry developments: The candidate will be responsible for staying updated on the latest industry trends and developments in risk modelling techniques and incorporate them into the organization's risk management processes.
  6. Present findings and recommendations: The candidate will be responsible for presenting risk modelling findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation: The Risk Modelling Lead Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all risk models and their methodologies for reference and audit purposes.
  8. Train and mentor junior analysts: The candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and mentoring to junior analysts and ensuring their development and growth within the organization.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all risk modelling activities are in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  10. Continuously improve risk management processes: The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve risk management processes and implementing best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization's risk management framework.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Risk Modelling And Analytics, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Expertise In Statistical And Mathematical Modelling Techniques, Such As Regression Analysis, Time Series Forecasting, And Simulation.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Risk Management Principles And Regulations, Including Basel Iii And Ifrs 9.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Analyses To Senior Stakeholders.
