Job Description

At NatWest Group, we are looking for an experienced Senior Investment Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Investment Risk team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the risk management practices for our investments. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio management, and risk assessment. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders. The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics. In addition, experience in the banking and/or financial services industry is preferred. Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the risk management practices for NatWest Group investments.
Analyze and assess financial market trends and portfolio management strategies.
Develop and implement risk assessment processes and tools.
Monitor and report on investment risk on an ongoing basis.
Identify and respond to emerging risk events.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, portfolio management, and risk management concepts.
Provide guidance and support to other team members on risk management issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Develop and identify new strategies and techniques to improve risk management processes.
Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in risk management.
