Master Control Operator

Responsibilities:

1. Operate equipment such as cameras, videotape machines, video switchers, audio boards, and other broadcast equipment.
2. Monitor signals for video and audio quality, sync levels, and other technical specifications.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve signal and equipment problems quickly and accurately.
4. Set up and adjust equipment to ensure that programming is broadcast according to established standards.
5. Maintain log of all broadcasts and recording sessions.
6. Monitor for technical quality control and ensure that broadcast and recording systems are functioning properly.
7. Collaborate with production teams to ensure that programming meets technical and aesthetic standards.
8. Monitor the transmission signal for technical problems and take corrective action as needed.
9. Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and standards.
10. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in working order.
