- Assist with researching, fact-checking, and gathering information for news stories.
- Shadow producers, reporters, and editors to learn about the news production process.
- Help with script writing and video editing for on-air and digital content.
- Attend editorial meetings and contribute ideas for news stories and segments.
- Assist with conducting interviews and gathering audio and video footage.
- Monitor and update news websites and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and pitch original story ideas.
- Adhere to tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain organization and accuracy in all work and communications.
- Represent the NBC Bay Area brand in a professional and positive manner.
- Attend and participate in networking events and workshops.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow within the internship program.

Strong Academic Background: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0 And Be Enrolled In An Accredited College Or University.
Excellent Communication Skills: Interns Should Possess Strong Writing And Verbal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.
Passion For News And Media: A Strong Interest In News And Current Events Is Essential For This Internship. Candidates Should Be Well-Informed And Up-To-Date On Local And National News.
Previous Media Experience: While Not Required, Candidates With Previous Experience In Media, Journalism, Or Related Fields Will Be Given Preference.
