As a Senior Hollywood Reporter, you will have the opportunity to cover the latest news and trends in the entertainment industry, with a focus on Hollywood and the film and television landscape. We are looking for a seasoned journalist with a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of the entertainment industry, and a drive to break news and deliver engaging content to our audience. If you have a knack for developing sources, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to be at the forefront of entertainment news, then we want to hear from you.

  1. Research and report on the latest news and trends in the entertainment industry, with a specific focus on Hollywood and the film and television landscape.
  2. Develop and maintain a network of sources within the entertainment industry to gather exclusive and breaking news stories.
  3. Write engaging and informative articles that appeal to our audience and drive traffic to our website.
  4. Conduct interviews with industry professionals and use critical thinking skills to analyze and present their insights.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes, and adapt reporting strategies accordingly.
  6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure high-quality and accurate coverage of entertainment news.
  7. Use multimedia tools to enhance storytelling and engage readers, such as photos, videos, and social media platforms.
  8. Adhere to ethical and journalistic standards and practices, including fact-checking and proper sourcing.
  9. Monitor and analyze website and social media metrics to identify trends and adjust reporting strategies.
  10. Attend industry events and press conferences as needed to gather information and build relationships.
  11. Mentor and guide junior team members and interns, providing feedback and support to help them develop their skills.
  12. Represent NBC News Digital in a professional manner and maintain a positive image for the company.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of The Latest Trends, News, And Events In The Hollywood Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Maintaining Relationships With Industry Sources And Contacts.
