IP Transactions, Trademarks & Copyrights Attorney

NCR is seeking a highly talented and experienced IP Transactions, Trademarks & Copyrights Attorney to join our legal team and provide strategic counsel in support of our business operations. In this role, you will be at the forefront of protecting NCR’s intellectual property, negotiating and drafting complex IP transactions, and providing guidance on trademark and copyright matters. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to practice law in at least one state, have 5+ years of relevant experience, and have a background in IP transactional matters, trademark and copyright law. Responsibilities:

-Provide strategic counsel in support of NCR’s business operations -Protect NCR’s intellectual property -Negotiate and draft complex IP transactions -Provide guidance on trademark and copyright matters -Stay current on the latest changes in IP, trademark, and copyright law -Advise management on potential legal risks and opportunities -Manage outside counsel on IP related projects -Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and outside counsel -Identify and resolve IP issues in a timely and cost-effective manner
