In this role, you will lead the development and execution of our social media strategy, leveraging your expertise in both brand building and performance marketing.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Neiman Marcus Group, aligning with the company's overall brand and business objectives.
  2. Lead the execution of social media campaigns, ensuring they are on-brand, engaging, and highly effective in driving growth and customer acquisition.
  3. Utilize your expertise in both brand building and performance marketing to optimize social media efforts and drive measurable results.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in social media, and proactively incorporate new strategies and platforms into the overall strategy.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and e-commerce, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to social media.
  6. Manage a team of social media specialists, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them achieve their goals and drive success for the company.
  7. Analyze and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers and partners to amplify brand messaging and reach new audiences.
  9. Monitor social media trends and consumer behavior, and use data to inform decision making and drive innovation within the social media strategy.
  10. Serve as a brand ambassador for Neiman Marcus Group, representing the company and its values in all social media interactions and collaborations.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Social Media Marketing: The Director Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Executing Successful Social Media Marketing Strategies For Retail Or Luxury Brands. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Different Social Media Platforms, Their Algorithms, And Best Practices For Driving Brand Awareness And Engagement.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Social Media Managers And Coordinators. Therefore, They Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Motivating A Team, Setting Clear Goals And Expectations, And Providing Guidance And Support For Professional Growth.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Brand Identity And Positioning: The Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Neiman Marcus Brand, Its Target Audience, And Its Positioning In The Luxury Retail Market. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of The Brand's Values, Tone Of Voice, And Visual Identity, And The Ability To Ensure Consistency Across All Social Media Channels.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: The Director Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Proficient In Using Social Media Analytics Tools To Track And Measure The Success Of Campaigns And Initiatives. They Should Also Have Experience In Using Data Insights To Inform Future Strategies And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Director Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams Such As Marketing, E-Commerce, And Creative, Therefore Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential. They Should Also Be Able To Build And Maintain Relationships With External Partners And Influencers To Drive Brand Partnerships And Collaborations.
