Neiman Marcus Group is seeking a Sales Associate for our Kids and Home department who is friendly, outgoing, and has an eye for style. As a Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and expertise in children's and home products while providing exceptional customer service.   1. Provide exceptional customer service to all Neiman Marcus Group customers in the Kids and Home department.
  2. Utilize knowledge and expertise in children's and home products to assist customers and make sales.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with customers to promote repeat business.
  4. Maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor to create a welcoming and positive shopping experience for customers.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current fashion and home decor trends to offer expert advice to customers.
  6. Meet and exceed sales goals set by the company.
  7. Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers.
  8. Assist in merchandising and restocking products to maintain a visually appealing and organized department.
  9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, cash handling and loss prevention measures.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area to provide a pleasant shopping environment for customers.
  13. Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.
  14. Attend and actively participate in training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Represent the Neiman Marcus brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Sales Experience: A Successful Sales Associate In The Kids And Home Department At Neiman Marcus Group Should Have Prior Experience In Retail Sales, Preferably In A Luxury Retail Environment. This Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of Customer Service And The Ability To Meet Sales Targets.

  • Knowledge Of Kids And Home Products: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Products Sold In The Kids And Home Department, Including Clothing, Accessories, And Home Goods. This Includes Knowledge Of Current Trends And Designers In The Market.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Sales Associate, It Is Important To Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Understand Their Needs, And Provide Product Recommendations. This Also Includes The Ability To Communicate Clearly With Team Members And Management.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Neiman Marcus Group Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service. Sales Associates Should Have A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor, Be Able To Build Relationships With Customers, And Go Above And Beyond To Ensure Customer Satisfaction.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Retail Industry Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding, Especially During Peak Seasons. A Sales Associate Should Be Able To Thrive In This Type Of Environment, Remaining Calm Under Pressure And Multitasking Effectively To Meet The Needs Of Multiple Customers.
