- Oversee the shipping and fulfillment processes of the company to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
- Manage a team of shipping and fulfillment specialists to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for shipping and fulfillment processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to optimize processes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with shipping carriers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and rates.
- Monitor and analyze shipping and fulfillment data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job effectively.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipping and fulfillment inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve shipping and fulfillment processes.
- Create and maintain reports on shipping and fulfillment performance for management review.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment for all employees in the shipping and fulfillment department.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Shipping And Fulfillment Operations, Preferably In A Retail Or E-Commerce Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Logistics, Transportation, And Warehouse Management Systems.
