We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Product Manager to join our team and oversee the Hardware New Product Introduction (NPI) process. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of new hardware products, from concept to launch, ensuring a smooth and successful NPI process. As a key member of our Operations team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.   1. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of new hardware products, from concept to launch.
  2. Manage the Hardware New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to develop and deliver high-quality products.
  4. Lead the development and execution of product launch plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  5. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends, and incorporate findings into product development and launch strategies.
  6. Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  7. Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of hardware components.
  8. Develop and maintain product documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and technical guides.
  9. Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop plans for product enhancements.
  10. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activity to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  11. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our products and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  12. Train and mentor team members on NPI process best practices and procedures.
  13. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards for all new hardware products.
  14. Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities for product development and expansion.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the NPI process to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Experience In New Product Introduction (Npi) Processes: The Operations Product Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Npi Process, Including Developing Launch Plans, Managing Cross-Functional Teams, And Coordinating With Suppliers And Partners.

  • Technical Aptitude: This Role Requires A Strong Technical Background In Hardware Product Development, Including Understanding Of Engineering Principles And Ability To Review Technical Designs And Specifications.

  • Project Management Skills: The Operations Product Manager Must Have Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Create And Manage Schedules, Track Progress, And Mitigate Risks To Ensure On-Time And Successful Product Launches.
