Develop and maintain software solutions for NetApp products using C/C++ FileSystems and Google Cloud NetApp Volumes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, efficient code.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud storage solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software development.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Work closely with product managers to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Continuously improve upon existing code and processes to enhance performance and scalability.
Stay organized and maintain accurate documentation for all software development activities.
Proactively identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
Communicate project updates and progress to relevant stakeholders.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest new ideas and initiatives.
Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Adhere to company coding standards and best practices.

Job Qualifications

Proficiency In C/C++ Programming Languages: A Software Engineer At Netapp Must Be Highly Skilled In C And C++ Programming Languages As They Are The Primary Languages Used In Developing Netapp's Systems And Software.
Experience With Systems Programming: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Systems Programming Such As Developing Operating Systems, Device Drivers, And File Systems. This Knowledge Is Essential In Designing And Developing Netapp's Storage Solutions.
Familiarity With Google Cloud Platform: As Netapp Is A Strategic Partner Of Google Cloud, Familiarity With The Platform Is A Must. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Working With Google Cloud Services Such As Google Compute Engine And Google Kubernetes Engine.
Knowledge Of Netapp Volumes: Netapp Volumes Is A Key Product Of The Company, And The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Its Features And Functionality. This Includes Experience In Creating And Managing Netapp Volumes In A Production Environment.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A Software Engineer At Netapp Must Be Able To Identify And Solve Complex Technical Problems Quickly And Efficiently. This Requires A Strong Analytical Mindset, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure.
