- Utilize various forecasting and modeling techniques to accurately predict future capacity needs.
- Develop and maintain capacity management processes and procedures.

- Proactively identify and troubleshoot capacity-related issues to minimize impact on our customers.
- Communicate capacity planning updates and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in capacity planning and make recommendations for improvement.
- Continuously monitor and track key performance indicators related to capacity planning and provide regular reports to management.
- Train and mentor junior members of the capacity planning team.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for capacity-related issues.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and compliance standards.
- Continuously review and improve capacity planning processes to support the company's growth and evolving needs.
Strong Analytical Skills: Capacity Planners At Netflix Must Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Analyze Data And Make Informed Decisions About Server Capacity And Resource Allocation.
Experience In Capacity Planning: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Capacity Planning, Preferably In A High-Traffic And Fast-Paced Environment To Be Able To Handle The Demands Of The Role At Netflix.
Knowledge Of Cloud Computing: As Netflix Operates On A Cloud-Based Infrastructure, Capacity Planners Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing And Its Impact On Capacity Planning.
