Engineering Director, Developer Platform

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Engineering Director, Developer Platform to join Netflix’s team. You will be responsible for leading the development of our platform that supports our developers and powers our global streaming business.We expect you to bring a creative, team-oriented approach and a passion for problem-solving to this role. You should have an eye for detail and experience in leading and motivating teams of engineers, architects, and product owners.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; at least 10 years of experience in software engineering, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role; and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget. Advanced knowledge of software engineering best practices, web services, and software development life cycles are also essential.
