Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced, highly organized, and creative Live Broadcast Operations Manager to join our team at Netflix. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our live broadcast initiatives. You will work closely with our teams to ensure successful execution of live, linear, and streaming broadcasts. If you are a creative problem solver with the technical know-how and experience to drive our live broadcast operations, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Live Broadcast Operations role, with a mix of linear and streaming broadcast experience. You must possess a deep understanding of broadcast industry standards and protocols, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. A collaborative approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills are also essential. Above all, you must be passionate about delivering high-quality live broadcasts to our viewers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the successful operations of all live, linear, and streaming broadcasts.
  2. Monitor industry standards and protocols to ensure quality and compliance.
  3. Collaborate with teams to ensure successful execution of live broadcasts.
  4. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative solutions to challenges.
  5. Maintain detailed records of all broadcast operations.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to maximize viewership and engagement.
  7. Ensure that all broadcast initiatives meet quality and legal standards.
  8. Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  9. Establish positive relationships with partners and vendors.
  10. Monitor performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
