As our Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience for our acquisition process, from the moment a customer decides to join our platform to their first stream. We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate individual who can lead and inspire a team to create seamless and engaging experiences for our users.   1. Lead the design and development of the user experience for Netflix's acquisition process, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for customers from start to finish.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and user researchers to understand user needs and translate them into innovative design solutions.
  3. Conduct user research and utilize data to inform design decisions and optimize the acquisition process.
  4. Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all acquisition touchpoints.
  5. Mentor and guide junior designers in the team, providing feedback and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in product design, and incorporate them into Netflix's design processes.
  7. Communicate and present design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to stakeholders and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  8. Work closely with the acquisition product team to understand business goals and priorities and align design solutions accordingly.
  9. Take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from ideation and prototyping to final product delivery.
  10. Ensure the accessibility and inclusivity of design solutions for all users.
  11. Continuously gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven design decisions.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and effective acquisition campaigns.
  13. Uphold Netflix's brand aesthetic and design standards in all design solutions.
  14. Proactively identify and address any design issues or roadblocks that may arise during the acquisition process.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of innovation and creativity.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Product Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Product Design, With A Focus On Acquisition And Conversion. This Should Include A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Design Process And Successful Product Launches.

  • Expertise In User Research And Data Analysis: A Senior Product Designer At Netflix Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of User Research Methodologies And Be Able To Effectively Analyze Data To Inform Design Decisions. They Should Also Have Experience Conducting A/B Testing And Using Data To Drive Product Improvements.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving User Acquisition And Conversion: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Launching Successful Products That Have Resulted In Significant User Acquisition And Conversion. This Should Be Reflected In Their Portfolio And Supported By Data Metrics.

  • Strong Design Leadership Skills: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading And Mentoring Design Teams, As Well As Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Such As Product Managers, Engineers, And Data Analysts. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Design Decisions And Advocate For The User Experience.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Best Practices: A Senior Product Designer At Netflix Should Be Well-Versed In Current Industry Trends And Best Practices In Acquisition And Conversion Design. They Should Be Able To Stay Updated On The Latest Design Tools And Techniques, And Continuously Strive To Improve The User Experience.
