You’ll be responsible for creating stories that meet a range of audience needs, from planned and reactive news to features, covers stories, and recaps. This role will work across Netflix titles to develop story pitches and execute those ideas to successfully generate and extend the conversation about our movies and TV shows among Netflix fans. Conceptualizing and pitching a broad range of story ideas around Netflix titles, talent, and moments. Authoring and building editorial content based on assignments. Building compelling editorial stories through research and existing materials. Create key utility content including but not limited to synopsis, recaps, character biographies, and summaries. Work in Netflix tools to select images and clips to embed in stories. Actively seeking feedback and edits from peers and editors to strengthen stories. Create conversation and deepen engagement around Netflix titles and talent. Use analytics tools to make data-informed decisions about coverage.
5-7 years of editorial experience.
