Job Description

At New Balance, we are looking for an experienced and creative Associate Footwear Designer - Kids to join our team. Our ideal candidate should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for innovation, and the ability to think outside the box. You should have an eye for trend direction, a strong knowledge of product construction and development, and a compelling portfolio of designs.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in footwear design, a Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field, and a passion for creating kid-friendly, stylish, and functional products. You must also have a strong understanding of the lifestyle and performance markets, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.If you have the required qualifications and a drive to push the limits of creativity, we invite you to apply!

Responsibilities:

  1. Create innovative and stylish kids' footwear designs that are both functional and trend-forward.
  2. Develop product construction and development in accordance with the latest trends.
  3. Stay abreast of the lifestyle and performance markets.
  4. Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues.
  5. Produce work quickly and efficiently.
  6. Contribute to strategic direction and decision-making.
  7. Maintain a portfolio of designs.
  8. Research and analyze new trends.
  9. Help to create a culture of innovation and creativity.
  10. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
