  1. Oversee the Long Term Disability department and ensure efficient and effective operations.
  2. Mentor and guide a team of professionals to achieve success and meet performance goals.
  3. Utilize expertise in the insurance industry, specifically in long term disability, to provide guidance and support to team members.
  4. Ensure exceptional customer service by monitoring and improving processes and procedures.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and drive results.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members to provide feedback, address concerns, and ensure a positive work environment.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external partners to promote the department and company.
  10. Create and maintain reports on team performance and present findings to upper management.
  11. Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
  12. Uphold company policies and procedures and ensure team members comply with regulations and guidelines.
  13. Continuously evaluate team performance and make necessary adjustments to meet department and company goals.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
  15. Represent the company and department at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Disability Insurance, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Long Term Disability Policies, Procedures, And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Performance Metrics And Goals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field (Such As Business, Finance, Or Insurance) Or Equivalent Work Experience.
