
Team Leader, Long Term Disability

- Oversee the Long Term Disability department and ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Mentor and guide a team of professionals to achieve success and meet performance goals.
- Utilize expertise in the insurance industry, specifically in long term disability, to provide guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by monitoring and improving processes and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and drive results.
- Communicate effectively with team members to provide feedback, address concerns, and ensure a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments and leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external partners to promote the department and company.
- Create and maintain reports on team performance and present findings to upper management.
- Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Uphold company policies and procedures and ensure team members comply with regulations and guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate team performance and make necessary adjustments to meet department and company goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Represent the company and department at industry events and conferences.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Disability Insurance, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Long Term Disability Policies, Procedures, And Regulations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Performance Metrics And Goals.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field (Such As Business, Finance, Or Insurance) Or Equivalent Work Experience.
