Cyber Security Analyst

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is looking for an experienced and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. This individual will play an integral role in driving the implementation of the organization’s security strategy and standards. We are looking for someone with a passion for information security, who is eager to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing security risks, working with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that all security initiatives meet compliance requirements.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 5 years of cyber security experience, including experience with security risk assessment and management, control implementation, and security architecture. Additionally, the successful candidate will have knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanning, and will possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
