Job Description

As the Store Manager at our Newell Brands location, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated individuals in providing exceptional customer service and promoting a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for all who walk through our doors.   1. Lead and manage a team of retail associates to ensure a positive and welcoming customer experience at all times.
  2. Set goals and expectations for the store team to achieve sales targets and promote brand awareness.
  3. Create and maintain a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, creativity, and a passion for the Yankee Candle brand.
  4. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for employees to enhance their product knowledge and customer service skills.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to drive results.
  6. Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked at all times to meet customer demand.
  7. Manage inventory levels and work closely with the inventory management team to maintain accurate stock levels.
  8. Collaborate with other store managers and corporate teams to implement company initiatives and promotions.
  9. Oversee all operational and administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, and budget management.
  10. Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to make informed business decisions.
  12. Uphold the company's values and standards at all times and act as a role model for the store team.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  14. Continuously seek out new ways to improve the customer experience and drive business growth.
  15. Represent the Yankee Candle brand positively and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and community partners.

Job Qualifications
  • 5+ Years Of Proven Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In The Home Fragrance Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Customers And Corporate Stakeholders.

  • Proficient In Sales And Inventory Management, With A Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets.

  • Knowledge Of Yankee Candle Products And Brand History, As Well As A Passion For Home Fragrance And Creating A Welcoming And Inviting Retail Environment.
