In this role, you will work closely with the Head Coach to lead and motivate our athletes to reach their full potential. As an Assistant Head Coach at Nike, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our athletes, both on and off the field. - Assist the Head Coach in creating and implementing training programs for athletes to improve their skills and performance.
- Work closely with athletes to provide guidance, support, and motivation to help them achieve their goals.
- Conduct individual and team meetings to discuss game strategies, tactics, and progress.
- Monitor and assess the progress of athletes, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments to training plans.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to plan and execute practices and games.
- Assist in recruiting and selecting athletes for the team.
- Ensure that all team members follow Nike's code of conduct and uphold the values of the company.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve coaching methods.
- Serve as a role model for athletes, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other staff members to maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
- Represent Nike at events and competitions, promoting the brand and building relationships with athletes and their families.
- Assist in the organization and management of team travel, equipment, and budget.
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise within the team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the overall performance of the team and provide recommendations to the Head Coach.
- Attend trainings, workshops, and seminars to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
Extensive Coaching Experience In A High-Level Sports Environment, Preferably With A Focus On Team Sports.
Proven Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Athletes.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Nike's Brand And Products, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of The Company's Mission And Values.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Coaches, Athletes, And Nike Staff.
A Track Record Of Success In Developing And Implementing Training Programs And Strategies To Improve Team Performance.
