  1. Lead the development of trims for Nike's sports apparel products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, style, and quality.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product development, and manufacturing to bring innovative trim ideas to life.
  3. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in trim materials and techniques, incorporating them into Nike's product offerings.
  4. Conduct research and testing on new trim materials and techniques to determine their suitability for Nike's products.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source the best trim materials and negotiate pricing.
  6. Manage the trim development process from concept to final product, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  7. Oversee the creation of trim specifications and ensure they are accurately communicated to suppliers and manufacturers.
  8. Take ownership of resolving any trim-related issues that arise during the product development process.
  9. Mentor and train junior trim developers, sharing knowledge and expertise to continuously improve the team's capabilities.
  10. Represent Nike at industry events and conferences to stay connected with the latest developments in trim technology and techniques.
  11. Maintain a deep understanding of Nike's brand identity and ensure all trims align with the company's values and image.
  12. Continuously assess and improve trim development processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Collaborate with sustainability and ethical sourcing teams to ensure all trims meet Nike's standards for environmental and social responsibility.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on trim development, providing guidance and expertise to other teams within the company.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for Nike, promoting the company's mission, values, and products to external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Apparel Design And Development: A Senior Trim Developer At Nike Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Designing And Developing Trims For Sports Apparel. This Should Include A Strong Understanding Of Materials, Construction Techniques, And Industry Trends.
