Job Description

Responsible for the quality of the underlying code for a variety of different online properties for Nintendo’s product marketing. Researches, evaluates and analyzes technical and design requirements. Prepares and presents recommendations regarding content, security, features, standards, and creative new approaches for the use of web technology. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new front-end web development technologies and apply them to enhance the usability and efficiency of the website. Participate in setting coding standards and document guidelines and best practices. Proactively recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions. Participate in design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, Site Q/A, and functional walkthroughs. Mentor and provide guidance to other developers about new technologies, methodologies and processes.

Job Qualifications

5+ years related experience in the role of Front-End web developer
Extensive experience scripting middle-tier application solutions and MVC programming frameworks
In-depth knowledge and experience with standard design software including PhotoShop and Illustrator
Experience with video player frameworks and integration a plus
Experience with building single page websites a huge plus
