Develop and implement software solutions for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) products using cutting-edge 5G technology.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and enhancements for FWA products.
Continuously research and learn about new technologies and advancements in the telecom industry to stay at the forefront of 5G development.
Troubleshoot and resolve any software issues or bugs that arise.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, product managers, and quality assurance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver them within the agreed upon timelines.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Keep up-to-date documentation of software designs, development processes, and results.
Stay current with industry trends and developments to identify potential improvement areas for our software products.
Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate their systems and technologies into our software solutions.
Adhere to project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Continuously improve and optimize software processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
Actively participate in team meetings, providing updates on project progress and identifying any roadblocks or challenges.

Job Qualifications

Strong Technical Knowledge Of 5G Technology: A 5G Telecom Software Engineer At Nokia Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Latest 5G Technology, Including Its Architecture, Protocols, And Standards.
Experience With Fixed Wireless Access (Fwa) Solutions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Developing Fwa Solutions, Including Knowledge Of Fwa Network Design, Deployment, And Optimization.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Software Development: As A Telecom Software Engineer, Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C++, Java, And Python Is Essential. Experience With Software Development Tools And Processes Is Also Required.
Knowledge Of Cloud Computing And Virtualization: With The Shift Towards Cloud-Based 5G Networks, The Candidate Should Have Experience With Cloud Computing And Virtualization Technologies, Such As Openstack And Kubernetes.
Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: A 5G Telecom Software Engineer Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues In A Timely Manner. The Ability To Troubleshoot And Debug Software And Hardware Components Is Also Crucial.
