- Design and develop field-programmable gate array (FPGA) solutions for use in telecommunications products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop FPGA designs that meet those requirements.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to design, simulate, and test FPGA designs.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and design verification reports.
- Troubleshoot and debug FPGA designs, identifying and resolving any errors or issues that arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in FPGA technology, and make recommendations for incorporating new techniques or tools into the design process.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
- Work closely with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger system designs.
- Ensure designs meet quality and reliability standards, and make necessary improvements or modifications as needed.
- Participate in project planning and estimation, and communicate progress and challenges to project stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior engineers in FPGA design principles and best practices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in FPGA design processes.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed to source components or resolve design issues.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company well in all interactions with clients and customers.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Fpga Design And Development.
Proficiency In Verilog And/Or Vhdl Programming Languages.
Strong Understanding Of Fpga Architectures, Design Methodologies, And Tools.
Experience With High-Speed Digital Design, Signal Processing, And Communication Protocols, Such As Ethernet, Pcie, Or Jesd.
