Job Description

  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of intellectual property laws and regulations to ensure compliance and protection of Nokia's patent portfolio.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to manage, protect, and enforce Nokia's patents.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential patent infringements and develop appropriate responses.
  4. Monitor and track industry developments and changes in intellectual property laws to ensure Nokia's patent portfolio remains up-to-date and relevant.
  5. Prepare and file patent applications and maintain accurate records of patent-related documents.
  6. Communicate with external legal counsel, patent offices, and other stakeholders to manage patent-related matters.
  7. Assist in patent licensing negotiations and agreements.
  8. Educate and train employees on intellectual property laws and policies to ensure compliance.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive patent information.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to intellectual property management.
  11. Provide timely and accurate reports and updates to management on patent portfolio status and developments.
  12. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify potential patent opportunities for Nokia.
  13. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures related to intellectual property management.
  14. Represent Nokia in patent-related legal proceedings and disputes.
  15. Uphold Nokia's values and standards of professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Managing And Optimizing Ip Networks.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Routing Protocols Such As Bgp, Ospf, And Mpls.

  • Familiarity With Network Security Principles And Best Practices.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Network Issues.
