Job Description

Plans and executes technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area. Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes. Identifies and solves technical problems. Shares knowledge in own professional area. Provides support to clients and/or customers either onsite or remote in his/her field of expertise. The Sr. RAN Engineer interfaces with both internal and external customers to provide commissioning and integration of RAN hardware/software as well as provide technical RAN support related services. Support and perform the implementation of new software and maintenance loads. Provide technical support per project and customer SLA. Support lab/pilot/FOA planning and validation of new hardware and software. Support the creation of MOP’s. Support testing of interoperability of 3rd party products.

Job Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years work experience in RAN Engineering for 5G/ 4G (LTE)/ UMTS / GSM and FEMTO.
Radio Network Commissioning and Integration of 5G/4G(LTE)/3G/2G
Knowledge and practice of RAN C & I processes
Knowledge and practice of RAN C&I tools
Working knowledge of the following technologies: IP, Ethernet, ATM, PDH and SDH (2G and 3G transmission and signalling).
