Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our software solutions and their functionalities.
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify and report on software defects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure software quality meets customer expectations.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely and effective solutions.
Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Document and communicate test results, issues, and recommendations to the development team.
Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance software quality assurance techniques.
Work closely with developers to identify and resolve software defects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Provide support and guidance to junior team members and assist in their professional development.
Monitor and track software defects and participate in defect review meetings.
Participate in the software release process, ensuring that all necessary quality checks are completed.
Collaborate with customer support teams to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
Adhere to company quality standards and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Contribute to creating a positive and productive work environment by being a team player and promoting open communication and collaboration.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Computer Science Is Essential For A Software Quality Assurance Engineer At Nokia. This Degree Demonstrates Knowledge And Understanding Of Programming Languages, Algorithms, Data Structures, And Software Engineering Principles.
Experience With Software Testing And Quality Assurance Processes: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Software Testing And Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Telecommunications Or Mobile Technology Industry. They Should Be Familiar With Various Testing Techniques, Tools, And Methodologies.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Software Quality Assurance Engineer At Nokia Should Have The Ability To Analyze Complex Systems And Identify Potential Defects Or Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Problems Efficiently, Using Logical And Systematic Approaches.
Knowledge Of Mobile Technologies And Devices: Since Nokia Specializes In Mobile Devices And Networks, Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Mobile Technologies, Operating Systems, And Devices. This Includes Knowledge Of 4G/5G Networks, Android And Ios Platforms, And Various Mobile Devices.
