- Design and implement SAP systems: Develop and implement strategic plans for SAP systems and ensure they are aligned with business objectives.
- Manage SAP landscapes: Oversee the management of complex SAP landscapes, including system landscape design, system installation, system copy, and system upgrades.
- Perform system maintenance: Ensure smooth operation of SAP systems by regularly performing system maintenance tasks such as system monitoring, performance tuning, and system backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise in SAP systems and provide timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain system stability.
- Collaborate with teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication between SAP systems and other technologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve and optimize our systems.
- Provide technical guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP Basis and provide guidance and support to other team members on system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance: Ensure SAP systems are compliant with relevant regulations, security standards, and licensing agreements.
- Train and mentor junior consultants: Mentor and train junior consultants on SAP Basis best practices and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors: Work with SAP vendors to resolve any issues or bugs and ensure timely delivery of updates and patches.
- Document processes and procedures: Document all SAP Basis processes and procedures to maintain a knowledge base and ensure consistency in system management.
- Drive continuous improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of our SAP systems.
Extensive Experience With Sap Basis Administration: A Sr Sap Basis Consultant At Nokia Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Sap Basis Administration, With A Strong Understanding Of Sap System Architecture, Installations, Upgrades, And Patching Processes.
Strong Technical Background: Along With Experience In Sap Basis Administration, A Sr Sap Basis Consultant At Nokia Should Possess A Solid Technical Background In Operating Systems, Databases, And Networks. Knowledge Of Virtualization Technologies Like Vmware Is Also Preferred.
Knowledge Of Sap Products And Technologies: Nokia Is A Global Leader In Telecommunication And Technology, And A Sr Sap Basis Consultant Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Various Sap Products And Technologies. This Includes Sap Hana, Sap S/4Hana, Sap Netweaver, And Sap Solution Manager.
Project Management Skills: A Sr Sap Basis Consultant Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing Complex Sap Projects, With The Ability To Work Under Tight Timelines And Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. They Should Also Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Troubleshoot Technical Issues And Provide Effective Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Nokia Is A Collaborative Organization, And A Sr Sap Basis Consultant Should Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders. They Should Also Have The Ability To Mentor And Guide Junior Team Members.
