Asset Protection Agent

As an Asset Protection Agent with Nordstrom, you’ll be responsible for protecting and preserving company assets and preventing losses due to theft or fraud. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor the store and surrounding areas to identify any suspicious activity or potential security risks
2. Investigate discrepancies in company records and reports
3. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
4. Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
5. Identify and analyze potential security threats
6. Develop and implement procedures to prevent theft and fraud
7. Maintain accurate records of investigations and security reports
8. Train and mentor new Asset Protection Agents
9. Utilize security systems such as CCTV and alarm systems
10. Collaborate with law enforcement and other organizations to investigate theft and fraud cases
11. Perform regular store audits to ensure compliance with security standards
12. Travel as needed to provide security services at different locations
