Asset Protection Agent

Nordstrom is looking for a highly motivated and organized Asset Protection Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing outstanding customer service, experience in investigations and strong problem-solving skills. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to helping us protect our inventory and store assets.The successful candidate must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of security, retail or law enforcement experience. Additionally, experience with CCTV systems, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor store activity to identify and prevent potential theft of merchandise and store assets.
2. Investigate suspicious activity, customer complaints, and other incidents.
3. Maintain detailed records and reports of all investigations, incidents, and customer service interactions.
4. Operate CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment as needed.
5. Respond to emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
6. Provide a high level of customer service.
7. Assist with the training of store personnel on loss prevention and safety procedures.
8. Lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
9. Perform physical assessments as needed.
10. Remain current with industry trends and best practices.
