Beauty Counter Manager

Nordstrom is looking for an experienced and passionate Beauty Counter Manager to join our team in the cosmetics department. This position requires strong leadership and customer service skills, as well as enthusiasm for our luxury cosmetics and beauty products. This individual will be responsible for leading the beauty counter team, managing daily operations, and meeting sales goals. To be successful in this role, the Beauty Counter Manager must have a minimum of two years' experience in managing a cosmetics retail environment, and possess a comprehensive knowledge of all brands within our beauty portfolio. A strong focus on sales is also essential, as this individual will be responsible for meeting and exceeding department sales goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the beauty counter team to ensure customer service excellence.
2. Train and motivate team members, and provide support to ensure they meet performance standards.
3. Manage daily operations, including merchandising and inventory.
4. Ensure departmental sales goals are met and exceeded.
5. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
6. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, customer loyalty, and profitability.
7. Monitor and evaluate customer feedback and take appropriate action to maintain high customer satisfaction.
8. Maintain and update knowledge of all brands within our beauty portfolio.
9. Assist in the hiring process, and coordinate staff training and development.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
