  1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Utilize knowledge of beauty products and trends to assist customers in finding the right products for their needs.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a personalized and enjoyable shopping experience.
  4. Stay up-to-date on new beauty products, trends, and techniques to effectively educate and inform customers.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to create engaging and visually appealing displays and promotions.
  6. Effectively communicate with customers about promotions, events, and services offered by the store.
  7. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting and selling beauty products.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed.
  9. Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills.
  10. Provide feedback to management on customer needs, product requests, and overall store performance.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In The Beauty Industry: A Qualified Beauty Stylist At Nordstrom Should Have Previous Experience Working In The Beauty Industry, Either Through Education Or Previous Employment. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Beauty Products, Techniques, And Trends.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Beauty Stylist, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis, Providing Beauty Recommendations And Advice. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential In Order To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Build Relationships.

  • Demonstrated Sales Experience: A Successful Beauty Stylist Should Have A Track Record Of Sales Experience, As The Role Involves Promoting And Selling Beauty Products To Customers. This Includes The Ability To Upsell And Cross-Sell Products, As Well As Meeting Sales Targets.

  • Passion For Beauty: A Genuine Passion For The Beauty Industry Is A Must For A Beauty Stylist At Nordstrom. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On Beauty Trends, Attending Beauty Events And Shows, And Constantly Expanding Knowledge Of New Products And Techniques.

  • Customer Service Oriented: Nordstrom Prides Itself On Its Excellent Customer Service, And A Beauty Stylist Should Embody This Value. This Includes A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor, A Willingness To Go Above And Beyond For Customers, And The Ability To Handle Any Customer Concerns Or Complaints With Grace.
