- Oversee the maintenance and operations of all Nordstrom stores in the designated region.
- Develop and implement maintenance and repair strategies to ensure the upkeep of our stores.
- Manage a team of facilities professionals, including hiring, training, and supervising.
- Create and manage budgets for the region's facilities department.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with outside vendors and service providers.
- Conduct regular inspections of stores to identify any maintenance needs and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as store operations and finance, to ensure smooth operations and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with store managers and other stakeholders to address any facilities-related issues and provide updates on ongoing projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities management to continuously improve our processes and systems.
- Ensure all stores in the region adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
- Handle any emergency situations and provide solutions to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Travel to different store locations within the region as needed.
- Train and educate store staff on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of the region's facilities department.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facilities team.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Facilities Management Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Corporate Environment.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
Proven Experience In Budget Management And Cost Control Strategies.
Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Industry Best Practices For Maintaining And Optimizing Facility Operations.
