  1. Develop and implement data strategy to support Nordstrom's business goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of data engineers and business intelligence analysts to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of data-driven solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to identify and prioritize data needs and opportunities.
  4. Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging data trends and technologies that can drive business growth and innovation.
  5. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Nordstrom's data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  6. Partner with IT teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  7. Create and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  8. Communicate data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, and drive data-informed decision making.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements and automation to optimize data workflows and increase efficiency.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and continuously seek opportunities to enhance Nordstrom's data capabilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Background In Data Engineering And Business Intelligence, With A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Relevant Experience.

  • Proven Leadership Skills, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience Managing A Team In A Data-Driven Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Data And Insights To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Data Management And Governance Best Practices, As Well As Experience Implementing And Maintaining Data Infrastructure And Tools.

  • A Strategic Mindset And Ability To Drive Innovation And Continuous Improvement In Data Engineering And Business Intelligence Processes And Systems.
