
Executive Administrative Assistant - Supply Chain Operations
Nordstrom is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Administrative Assistant to support our Supply Chain Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain, working closely with our executive leadership to coordinate and manage various administrative tasks. - Provide high-level administrative support to the Supply Chain Operations team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Serve as a liaison between the executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely responses.
- Organize and maintain important documents, reports, and presentations for the supply chain team, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and conferences, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual needs.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing team members, including setting up equipment, ordering supplies, and coordinating access to systems.
- Manage and process expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents for the supply chain team.
- Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making processes for the supply chain team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
- Proactively identify and address any administrative issues or roadblocks that may impact the efficiency of the supply chain team.
- Continuously evaluate and streamline administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
- Uphold a high level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company's supply chain operations and be able to effectively communicate updates and changes to the team.
- Other duties as assigned by the executive leadership and supply chain team.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Supply Chain Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, And Inventory Management Processes. They Should Also Have Previous Experience Working In A Similar Role Within The Retail Industry.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills: As An Executive Administrative Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Tasks And Projects Simultaneously. They Should Be Able To Prioritize And Meet Deadlines Effectively.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Exceptional Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well With People At All Levels Of The Organization. They Should Also Be Able To Handle Confidential Information With Discretion.
Proficient In Data Analysis And Reporting: A Successful Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Data And Provide Reports On Supply Chain Performance, Identify Areas For Improvement, And Make Recommendations For Streamlining Processes.
Proactive And Adaptable Attitude: The Supply Chain Industry Is Constantly Changing, And The Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To New Technologies, Processes, And Procedures. They Should Also Be Able To Anticipate And Address Potential Issues Before They Arise.
