  1. Develop and implement comprehensive asset protection strategies to safeguard the company's assets and minimize losses.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the Asset Protection department, including managing a team of security personnel and monitoring their performance.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities within the stores, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  4. Monitor and analyze security metrics to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as store managers and loss prevention teams, to develop and implement effective security protocols.
  6. Train and educate employees on security procedures and protocols to ensure compliance and minimize security risks.
  7. Investigate and resolve security incidents, such as theft, fraud, and other security breaches, in a timely and efficient manner.
  8. Conduct internal and external investigations, including interviews and surveillance, to gather evidence and identify perpetrators.
  9. Maintain a strong working relationship with local law enforcement agencies and serve as a liaison between them and the company.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection and implement them as necessary to enhance the company's security measures.
  11. Develop and manage the department's budget, including allocating resources and controlling expenses.
  12. Foster a culture of safety and security within the company by promoting awareness and providing training and resources to employees.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state laws and regulations regarding asset protection and safety.
  14. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the department's performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the company's asset protection strategies and make adjustments as needed.
