As a Program Manager for Software Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective use of software across our organization.   1. Develop and implement software asset management strategies and processes to ensure efficient and effective use of software across the organization.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day management of software assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and licensing compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software needs and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  4. Monitor software usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
  5. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and maintain accurate records of software licenses and contracts.
  6. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on software assets and address any issues or concerns.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure software assets are being used in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in software asset management and make recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Identify and mitigate any risks associated with software asset management, such as potential compliance issues or security threats.
  10. Manage a team of software asset management professionals and provide coaching and guidance to ensure their success.
  11. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of software assets and any potential risks or opportunities.
  12. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for software assets.
  13. Stay up-to-date on software asset management tools and technologies and make recommendations for their implementation and use.
  14. Develop and maintain relationships with software vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for software purchases.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the software asset management program to align with business goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Software Asset Management, Preferably In A Retail Or E-Commerce Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Software Licensing And Compliance, Including Experience With Software Audit Processes.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Stakeholders Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Various Teams And Departments.
