Job Description

At Nordstrom, we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a premium shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for problem-solving and excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone with:- At least 1-2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service- A passion for fashion, customer service, and working with people- A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of retail POS systems and cash handling- Excellent organizational skills and a willingness to learnIf you have a commitment to customer service and a desire to be part of an exceptional team, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist customers with their purchases, including providing advice and recommendations on products.
  3. Ensure customers are aware of current promotions and discounts.
  4. Process payments and refunds accurately and efficiently.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
  6. Maintain a neat and organized sales floor.
  7. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  8. Train and mentor new employees on company policies and procedures.
  9. Adhere to all safety and security regulations.
  10. Follow all Nordstrom policies and procedures.
