Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support

Nordstrom is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to provide exceptional customer service, has a passion for fashion, and is looking to grow and develop in the retail industry. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, have an eye for detail, and be able to maintain a positive attitude when dealing with customers. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
2. Provide exceptional customer service to help customers find the items they need
3. Accurately process cash register transactions and provide receipts to customers
4. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and stock shelves as needed
5. Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
6. Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
7. Ensure all safety and security protocols are being followed
8. Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy
9. Follow store policies and procedures for customer service and cash handling
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
