Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support

Nordstrom is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support who is passionate about providing outstanding service to our customers. You will be responsible for helping customers to find the items they need, completing transactions, and ensuring the store is well-maintained and organized. The ideal candidate for this position will have a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to providing superior customer service. REQUIREMENTS:• High school diploma or equivalent• A minimum of one year of retail experience in a customer service role• Strong knowledge of cash register and other point-of-sale systems• Ability to lift up to 25lbs• Ability to stand for extended periods of time• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

3. Operate cash register and other point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently.
4. Assist customers in locating items in the store.
5. Process customer transactions in a prompt and efficient manner.
6. Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
7. Assist in stocking shelves and displaying merchandise.
8. Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
9. Ensure that all customer service standards are met.
10. Handle customer complaints and disputes in a professional manner.
11. Report any issues or incidents to the store manager.
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
13. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
